Statement Upload Data Policy

User-controlled uploads

Users may choose to upload bank statements or other financial records into the platform to assist with budgeting and reporting functions.

Users may choose to manually enter information or upload financial statements to the platform.

No direct bank connectivity

SmartMoneyBudget does not currently provide direct bank account connectivity, Open Banking integration, automatic transaction streaming, or direct access to users' financial institution accounts.

SmartMoneyBudget currently does not:

• Connect to banks
• Connect to financial institutions
• Stream transactions automatically
• Access user bank accounts
• View online banking credentials

At this time:

• We do not access users' online banking accounts.
• We do not request users' banking passwords.
• We do not request security codes or authentication credentials.
• We do not have visibility of information stored within a user's financial institution account.

Your responsibility

Users are solely responsible for:

• Information entered into the platform
• Information uploaded to the platform
• Ensuring information is accurate and current

The accuracy of reports and calculations relies on information supplied by the user.

Any budgeting information generated by the platform is based solely on information entered or uploaded by users.

Future connectivity

Future versions of SmartMoneyBudget may introduce secure bank connectivity features after the necessary legal approvals, compliance requirements, security controls, and regulatory obligations have been satisfied.

Until such features are implemented, users remain in control of the information they choose to upload, helping maintain privacy and security.
